Glenlee House

Glenlee House sits in Glenlee Park and is a Grade II Listed Building. This small 18th century house was remodelled and enlarged in 1822 by Robert Lugar. This is a private dwelling and NOT open to the public.

 

According to Coxe, the house is haunted by a male apparition and that of Lady Ashburton, who is dressed in rustling grey silk.

Castle Douglas (Scottish Gaelic: Caisteal Dhùghlais) is a town in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

It lies between the towns of Dalbeattie and Gatehouse of Fleet.
